Right, costs nothing. For me it's an opportunity not worth throwing away. Don't cling on the result and don't give up guys & gals.
BTW, the site is pretty quick to load this year, don't you think? Last year it was a disaster.
I was wondering exactly the same thing. I think it is just the generic message that wasn't changed to reflect that the second draw took place. I would like to see it changed too, to be sure I've got the second draw results (although I think that the results were updated and I'm not selected this...
I have no problem accessing the website. But I've had difficulties with it when I refreshed the site, or used the back button. I had to close the browser and start it again. Also make sure you use Internet Explorer only.
I get NOT SELECTED too. Not sure if they updated the results yet, will...
Cool find, Abbie! Although the NZ glitch affected much fewer applicants than the DV2012 glitch, it's nice to see such a response from the officials. Thanks for sharing!
I agree with lord and I agree with you too. I remember 600+ people viewing the DV lottery forum overall. However, out of them there was just 30 registered forum members. The others might have won and didn't bother to register. That being said, I think too few are reporting successful selection...
Might be the case, I dunno, I would be speculating. But it seems to me that too few people reported winning on this forum. I would appreciate DOS to take the effort to inform the lottery participants more thoroughly.
If you think moving away from the forum will help you, do it :) Although honestly, I will miss your posts. I'm gonna stick around here to see what's going on for the successful ones. Hope to see you around here soon.
