    Thanks Jackolantern. Since then I have renewed my US visa and got another ten years and i have traveled to the US every year since without any problems. Does this say it isn't as bad?

    Hi, I am in the process applying for my green card through spouse. I was in a shoplifting incident in about 2007. I went to court and was fined $200. Will this affect my green card application? Will I need to get a certificate of disposition from the court?
