aw.. thank you so much for your answers! .. my mother is a USC.. so i have to enter the US first.. and maybe be back after a year in my native land and get married, would that be ok then? and if it is, how many years will it take for me to petition my wife?

My mother petitioned me an immigrant visa under the category, unmarried son over 21 years. Now, that my visa has been approved, am i allowed to get married before entering the US?.. or will it affect my GC and application for citizenship in the future.. please help.. i really need it ASAP
