H4 to H1 lost I797
Hi, My wife has H4 Visa stamped till Apr 2011, her H-1B pittetion with COS was approved in Nov 2010 and new I-94 was sent to attorney, However her company attorney lost them :mad: and has applied for duplicate I-797. Can some one let us know, 1) Can she apply for SSN and start working...- mk97

Rules for H4 stock trading
AFAIK you need SSN to open a brokerage account,H-4 visa holders are not eligible for SSN- mk97
