applies only to CP cases scheduled after 1/31/2002. NOT i-485 cases.  

ur RD is june, but ur FP date is Dec. Maybe that\'s the reason. the trend we are seeing right now is: 1. RDs around april-june (even 1 july RD, i think) 2. FPs done oct - early nov 3. earlier message was "...collected on Nov 16..." since u did ur FP later than that group, ur...

a late (read batch, consolidated) update like u can see, guys with July RDs who have old message - "FP collected on Nov 16 ... pending review ..." still have that message. Only prior RDs are seeing this message. makes sense to me (as much sense as one can make of anything INS...

in fact that substantiates the original argument! RDs in July still have the old message, even if the FP was done in Nov. Only RDs in April, May and June time frame, and who otherwise have nothing pending, have got the new message. July RDs hopefully will hear the new message before the end of Jan.

what Dee Rod has explained is correct. when u call FBI after doing ur FP and FBI says it has sent it back to INS, it just indicates whether ur FP was ok or not and if there is a record with them. but the actual background check report takes sometime. if FP is not OK, INS issues a redo. if OK...

received EAD cards today  

11/21: FP done, 12/06: AVM message changed to "... FP collected ... pending review ..." around how many days after the message "... pending review ..." did the message change to "... processing has resumed ..." ???

EAD message ... interesting. there seem to be so many different messages!! i i get the message: "after approving this case, ur card was ordered ..." it does not say anything about an approval notice. is there a EAD approval notice? or will i get the card directly? thanks

EAD approved: 11/29, EB3-RIR I am EB3-RIR, just in case anybody is analyzing.

AP approved 11/13, FP: 12/14 sch, 11/21 done My and my wife\'s APs were approved on 11/13 and we got our FP notices on 11/20, scheduled for 12/14. We did the FP before schedule on 11/21. We are in Phoenix, AZ. The AVM, as of 11/27 night, still saying "FP notice was sent on 11/16 ..."
