Applicaton ID should be a nine digit number which was created while generating the Order Form in the Travisa website. If you're entering the correct number but it still gives an error, then it's better you call Travisa.

Yes. When you start filling the form, there is a place where it asks if you are applying for renunciation too. If you check that option it will ask for more details.

Yes that is normal. I think it takes around two weeks for the status to change.

I too had the same difficulties reaching out to Travisa. Finally I called them early morning like 9 AM EST (or 8 AM EST - don't remember). That time I was the 7th or 8th in the queue and was able to talk to a rep. That guy was super nice and patiently answered all my questions.

It looks like they are printing together OCIs from one consulate's at a time. Houston seems to be moving now whereas NY seems to be stagnant.

Thanks Samm174. It seems to be faster from the date of printing. Mine is still showing granted status and going by your timelines I will get my passport around June 18th. Anyway I have to cancel our tickets for 9th (losing a lot of money) and rebook them :-(...

nyc12, try contacting Travisa by phone. When I talked to Travisa they said I can request them to withdraw the application over phone itself. Getting them on phone is of course very difficult. Try to be the first caller in the morning or some other time where you think there would less callers...

Yes there is a bug. We had a simlar problem. The renunciation fee for one person was not showing up. But we still included it in our check and it's been accepted. Travisa processed our application and sent it to the consulate. That is because when I applied the fee was 175 and not 178. If...
