Sorry to hear that. I agree,something is weird about the announcement that they might release a second round of winners in October,and after last years' fiasco in May,I don't trust this whole thing anymore.And it seems there are not that many winners so far.

They also reduced the processing fee for GC winners in April 2012.But whatever the reasons are for their decision, an additional selection in October can only mean higher chances for us.GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

I guess they have to keep the photos,or how do they want to find out otherwise that someone submitted the same photo 2 years in a row?Wow what a photo gallery ;-)

just curious,how do they realize that someone used the same picture again?through scanning,when they also look for multiple entries?sorry I'm not a technology geek.

Me too,since for 2011 I registered towards the end,and in 2012 I registered in mid October.

Don't be too frustrated.I just read in another forum, that one person finally won this year after applying since the lottery was launched back in the 90's.

That is so true.Friends of mine who are US citizens currently work two jobs to be able to pay for they living expenses, although they hold a BA or MA, but many companies pay less due to the bad economy.I feel sorry for everyone who thinks getting a GC and moving to the US is like moving to...
