Name change is never offered anymore during naturalization?

Does anyone know if that would work if I change my address to another district before the oath where a judge is involved (maybe LA or OC) and raise a request about name change again? I don't think we are treated equally in northern california, as we paid the same amount of money but now we are...

Name change is never offered anymore during naturalization?

I was just interviewed today in San Francisco and I was told by the IO that they wouldn't offer name change anymore and I had to go through the local court to file my application. That would be another $400+! Did you guys meet the same situation?

    bad experience with RTD

To youngboy, it is okay. I totally understand your concern. US Airways replied they would address this issue internally with the local manager and provided me with a $200 Voucher. I think I might ask them to share this issue with as many airports as they can, so that it could benefit the...

I agree with ASSYLEE too, but I was not aware of their visa requirement (Like ASSYLEE pointed out, my assumption was wrong) until I was back and started to study my real situation when you asked me the visa question. And there was no visa requirement for refugees indicated on US Greek Embassy...

That wouldn't work. Those stubborn airline agent will never bother to look at it. I tried, but they claimed that they only followed their own policy, regardless of what you can show them. I even asked them to check me in to the PHI flight first and I'll speak to immigration officer there if...

    bad experience with RTD

No, I did not have any visa on my RTD, so the potential risk should be I was refused to fly to Greece, but I had no problem at all for this part. (Greece did require Schengen visa for RTD, I checked the website of Greek Embassy.) Like I said earlier, there is supposed to be no border or...

    bad experience with RTD

Guys, thanks all for your responses. Let me complete my story here. I just came back from Germany. 1. US Airway: You’ve already known what happened. I am in a small city, so there’s no immigration officer and the airline staff is always trying to serve as immigration officers and in fact our...

    bad experience with RTD

Thanks Guys. My destination is Germany, so visa is exempted. I don't think there's a ground to file a lawsuit, maybe a complaint would suffice, since even USCIS says airline company has the right. RTD is not a passport after all. By the way, the counter found the words "This is NOT a United...

    bad experience with RTD

Guys, I scheduled a trip to Europe flying with US Airway. I arrived at the airport over 2 hrs earlier, but finally still missed the flight. The counter initially didn't let me check in because she claimed that I didn't have valid passport and RTD is NOT a passport. I called US Airway...

No transit visa is needed in Europe with RTD

Guys, I am doing my vacation plan recently and I checked some EU countries' embassy websites in US. It looks like RTD holders don't need Schengen visa for flight transit in France, Netherlands, London and of course Germany, maybe there is still any but I didn't look up. Then it looks like...

RTD+GC TO CANADA By air REQUIRES VISA OR NOT?

I'll close this thread Check-in at Toronto Airport was very smooth, no problem at all with RTD. However, I discovered US set up its Customs at Toronto Airport, on Canadian land! I've heard in Montreal, Vancouver as well, people who want to travel to US have to enter US Customs after checking...

RTD+GC TO CANADA By air REQUIRES VISA OR NOT?

Guys, confirmed. I am now writing you in Toronto. (1) Boarding: I have problems in check-in. The clerk never saw RTD before and it seems the system doesn't let it go, and it looks like RTD is not machine readable to airline kiosk?? I flew with Delta this time. At last I used my NP to check in...
