i wanna make it easy if someone born in X country but his nationality is Y and when he got his DV visa found they wrote his nationality X is that fine or incorrect?

hi every body to people who got their visas; i got my visa, but under nationality they wrote the name of the country i was born not my real nationality is that correct and belong to the foreign state of chargeability or incorrect? anyone face that issue?
