i filed for both parents on 4/28/10, FP was done sometime in May, we have received IL for 7/23 however we haven't received any EAD (i filed i-765 for both), is that unusual? any experience having IL prior to approval of EAD?

what does it say on your online case status? i was interviewed a day before yours and i havent gotten any OL/OD yet. i basically passed my interview and sent the paperwork they ask me the same day of my interview. so i can schedule infopass too if needed. thanks!
AFAIK you dont have to retake your FPGEE, submit a copy of your FPGEC certificate together with TOEFL/TSE results (not sure if this changed already) to CA BOP, i think it requires a fingerprint too. then you will be issued an intern license. normally they give out 2yr license. Please do check...
if they will not take you as an intern pharmacist, leave your place of work and go to a different pharmacy. if you like it so much go back to the district manager and ask him if he/she understands your situation. i dont see any reason why they would take a school intern over a grad intern...
