usually 3-4 days if u had fedex/UPS then i have seen AVS getting updated immediately as they receive, but my case was different i mailed it out on sep 24 2001, but due to antrax threat they opened it on Nov 27, hey its luck, i have seen guys getting approved , who had the whole process...

iam posting this message for my friend who has lost his passport in mexico(stolen). 1. can he get an alternate greencard before he gets his plastic card. cause he needs passport for stamping. 2. what are the neccessary steps that needs to be done immediately any answer is appreciated

AVM says received on Nov 27th 2001 wow after 2 months they received my RFE, i sent it out on sep 24th

i guess they started there early vacation yeap its been preety slow

its okay to go for finger printing i filed my amended I140 on march 2001 but i did my finger printing after that, but my i140 got approved on oct 2 2001 , and i got an RFE for my paystubs and W2 still waiting
