That is not true! I can understand your frustration (assuming you are waiting too...). I came up with a bunch of reasons for why NSC does it the way it does things(but no answers!!!)...but there are so many cases that were approved of MAR/APR 01 of which reciept notices say 540-590 days etc...

all I can say is be patient your will come...don\'t know how this thing works!

I had my FP 2days ago.... and when I call the FBI number they are saying that INS has not sent them my FP yet.... whereas my wife\'s been through on the same day! This is in Detroit! Any ideas or thoughts! thanks, -farmington hills

Normally the 485 process takes about an year! It doesn\'t matter when you get your fp done. For e.g. at NSC it takes about an year no matter when you get your fp done!...So look for the processing times of your service center and calculate accordingly... -farmingtonhills

within 2 days they will mail the actual card and message changes to case approved... In my case card was mail the next day and message changed to case approved. good luck! -farmingtonhills
