My case was one of the old cases . I always believe that if the 485 is not approved with other guys and getting delayed like Nov Dec 00 cases, only EAD renewal forces the officer to open up the 485 file. That was true in my case. My current EAD is going to be expired by tonight. So just a factor...

DO you have tracking information??? If you have FEDEX tracking no. then call INS and let them know that INS received the response. If you don\'t have still your lawyer can file motion to reopen. You need not worry if she does not require EAD immediately. You can wait for your lawer to come...

I got approved at last... I got approved on Dec 31st . I came to know last night when I checked the AVM. INS received my RFE response on Dec7th. My EAD renewal also got approved on Dec28th. My current EAD is expired by tonight. I will mail complete details in a seperate thread. Thanks guys...

Received real card in mail on 12/15/01. AD : 09/20/01, Stamped on 10/03/01 at Newark. AVM says card was ordered on 11/29/01. Good luck to very one.

I got RFE for EAD too.. The RFE is for Photos. The photos I sent were darker (INS Says...) So they requested 2 photos. So don\'t worry . Yours might be the same story.
