This is a 3-month requirement, and not a 90-day requirement, right? I wonder how they count the "months" to see whether an applicant meets this residency requirement.
natural-born citizen?
I don't want to take the "conspiracy theories" to the next level, but I think "birthright citizenship" is even debated here in the US; that is, whether there is any such right to citizenship for anyone born on US soil is a contested subject.
I wish they had this pilot program when I was in school all those years. Back then F-1 students had to somehow find a sponsor for H1B or leave the country.. Though I wonder if the program will move forward-- I bet a lot of citizens and veterans are upset about this foreigner-ization of the army.
faster USCIS?
I applied in March for naturalization (in New England) and things seem to be proceeding pretty quickly so far. Is USCIS really faster or have they just expedited naturilization applications? How long does it take after the FP to receive the Interview Letter? Thanks.
