hey caprisun, i applied only at 2:30. so i had to pick it up the next day. If you are able to apply before 11 a.m, you will get it the same day. You need to make an appointment though, and need to have proof that you are traveling within 14 days. I applied in NYC. Do not mention your speeding...

take your green card, passport, driver's licence & oath letter. it lasts 30-45 mins. you can bring anybody, even friends. Seating depends on ur ceremony's location. take your camera & take a lot of pictures! its highly encouraged! go to Newark timeline thread to read my experience.
