@sirus - Thanks. No idea what's special about the Oath ceremony that I'm "selected" for. I'm not changing my name or anything. I have had to wait for almost 3 months between interview and Oath. It's not a big deal, it's just seems longer than the norm. I'd have been much happier to just get it...

Update I finally received my Oath letter last Saturday. Yay! I'm scheduled for Oath on Sep 23. The letter says "You have been selected to be part of a very special naturalization ceremony being conducted at..............". That might explain why they took so long to schedule my Oath...

Thanks Yes, my friend, I know I'm not in the worst possible situation, or even a difficult situation for that matter, that many folks unfortunately find themselves in, often for no good reason or explanation. I know I am fortunate that way to have gotten to this stage without much hiccups...

Does anyone know what happens at the DO between Interview and Oath? Here's the thing...I was interviewed at the Denver DO on June 30th and passed the interview (received letter at the end that said recommended for approval) and was told that I would receive Oath letter in about 4-6 weeks...

Update Got done with my interview today. It was a pleasant experience. I was in and out in 5 minutes! It was super fast, almost unblievable. I had overprepared and therefore had tons of documentation with me but nothing was asked, just the driving license and PR card. I also had 2 speeding...

Update Received my IL today. Scheduled for June 30. Got a 2 month wait until the interview...kinda sucks! Oh well, I guess I should be happy that at least I'm not lost inside the USCIS black hole! :rolleyes:

Update Received FP letter today.

Update My check cleared and I also received NOA today. Yay! :)
