Thanks Auscal. Actually i saw people on this forum got their PP an Nat. Cert. together and in my case the difference in number of days already have been 4 days.Wondering it got lost lost in the mail or not.

I guess your country will also ask your status abroad (like green card/visa etc) even when u enter your country(I'm not sure u can enter your country only with your saudi passport (if it doesn't have any visas to explain). And they will know that way.

Signature on Passport Thanks for clarifying that Huracan. I'm not sure how to sign the passport, I guess I need to sign the passport the way i did my naturalization certificate (Full Name).

Thanks Huracan, I called the customer service and learnt it may take upto two more weeks to get the Naturalization Certificate and he can see it has not been mailed out yet from their end. It could be better and cheaper for them too if they could mail them all together :cool:

I was able to check the status today and it says its being processed. It also says if I'm travelling within 7 days I need to call them.Hopefully I get it before my travel :)

Looks like you need to send your original naturalization certificate with passport application.As stated on naturalization certificate you can not make copy of the certificate, what would happen if it gets lost in the mail? thanks for your input on this.

Like NewRunner mentioned here I need to check the spelling of my name on the naturalization Certificate. I was wondering what would happen if its printed wrong on the certificate (which may very well happen with south asian names)? In that case do I need to wait for another ceremony for the name...

Also can i sign the naturalization certificate with any kind of pen? I remember reading in this forum something about the kind of pen i need to use to sign the certificate.

I wrote my full name as Last, First and Middle on N400 and on Pics.Do I follow the same on N445, Naturalization Certificate and Passport application??

The oath Ceremony letter is a generic letter. Are you sure you are required to go for a second interview?

After you Apply for an expedited passport through post office (which does not require a ticket or itenery) it usually takes 10 days.

So looks like I do not need to show any ticket or itenery to post office other than paying some extra fee to apply for expedited passport.

I saw some of the members here applied through post office as expedited service and got the passport within around 10 days. So do you still need to show your ticket/itenary (travelling within 14 days) to post office if you r applying for expedited passport? In this case what is the maximum...
