    Stamping I-551 in L.A.

I was a VSC applicant who relocated to L.A., so that is where my approval notice directed me to get my passport stamped. On September 25th, I went to Room 1001 as per the notice, arriving at 6:00 a.m. at the end of a huge line outside. 2 1/2 hours later, finally at the teller, I was told that...

11/16/2000 Approved as per AVM 09/17/2001

Thanks and FYI I checked the AVM on Sept 18 and heard I was approved on Sept 17. I don\'t know when it was assigned to an officer, although when I spoke last week to an IIO, she politely told me that my case was pending - and knew nothing else. I hope this info helps!

Baltimore Local Transfer - 29th August interview result.

Congratulations! Perhaps I am misunderstanding something, but can you explain what exactly was the nature of the employer\'s financial statement that you were required to produce? It seems odd that INS required it. I can\'t imagine my employer, a multi-billion dollar company, preparing a...

    how to change address

No Title Please be careful. The AR-11 is not for VSC. It goes to DOJ and "can" be used by VSC - but they may well never become aware of it through that office. In fact, you must do two things. The AR-11 is mandatory for all non-citizens so that the government can track our...

How do I contact an IIO??

No Title Please carefully reconsider calling an IIO based upon the following experience I had in the last three weeks: My wife\'s redo notice took 15 days (March 23) after the first appointment (March 8). This second notice scheduled her to do her second fingerprints exactly 23 days (March...

Approval for cases after March 00 ?

No Title Thanks for the catch, VoodooDoc. Math stands, though. I just used week by mistake instead of month. Approx 20 working days per month is 2.5 applications per day for one person. Thrilling - NOT!

Approval for cases after March 00 ?

No Title 50 applications per week suggests that one individual working 20 to 21 days per months is processing about 2 to 3 cases per day. Hmm, get 5 helpers and you\'re running at the CSC rate within two months, ie. current. Also, if one person were truly working alone (I can\'t imaging 2...

Any one got TB skin test done??

No Title I had this test - but could not prove that I did not need it. I was immunized as a child more than thirty years ago in Yugoslavia and had no documentation. So, a positive test indicates an induration - a raised red swelling. It is caused by TB antibodies. TB antibodies are...
