Got my oath letter today!

I brought my children's brith certs as stated on the "yellow letter" but he said he didn';t need to see them. Obviously you'll bring them when they ask though! Certified is what you get from the records office in your town. They generally won't give you just a photocopy.

That's the first I heard about changing it after GC too. I was on a J-1 for 3 months in 2001. I was given a GC in 2003 and just used my old ss card. What does the GC one say if anything?

No. If you applied before Oct 1st, but you're interview is after Oct 1st you can do either (until Oct 09 I think). I'm doing the old one.
