Is there anyone who have been to San Antonio INS for stamping recently? If so, please post your experience. My details: Processing center: VSC 485 RD 01/12/01 ND 01/19/01 Approved: 10/31/01. My wife moved to Austin recently, so she needs to get her passport stamped in San Antonio...

stamping was a formality..... It took an hour of waiting and five minutes of actual stamping work in Atlanta. Feels good to be off the hook!

yes. I did mine with courtesy copy in Atlanta,GA  

Yak! you are getting closer.. I don\'t think you will get a copy. Only lawyers receive RFE\'s. Lawyer should have it in less than a week. Good Luck!

Hey byju, it is not a transfer..... After approval everyone has to go to the local INS to get their passport stamped. It will be mentioned in the approval letter you receive...

dsknow... I thought I delayed it by a day :)- No, I did not ask how long for the card! I am least bothered about it. However, their guess is as good as ours!

Got my passport stamped in Atlanta. Got there at 6:40AM, got out by 8:10AM. Used courtesy copy(no problem).

Got mine yesterday too.... Going for stamping tomorrow or dayafter in Atlanta..

You are right.... However, she told me that somebody is reviewing your case now, and that I should hear in 30-60 days. Bulky file concept is also thrown out of window now. Can\'t get a inside look into the process. Good luck to you for your approval.

COngratulations! I checked mine after seeing your approval. Amazingly, mine is approved yesterday!

It is not normal.... It happens when there is known problem, like huge backlog etc.. However, right now there is no such thing going on at VSC. Hence, the theory that she is probably teasing!

Give them another call.... That will really confirm it for you!
