Its been 3 weeks now since my online status changed to "placed in line for interview scheduling" and I have heard nothing since, getting very frustrated now. Is this timescale normal ? Cheers

Frustrating I know but don't worry to much. I filed my N400 in March and only just recievd notice of my BIO now, day 52 !!!! It generally takes longer at some local offices to schedule your BIO than at others.

I believe there is no requirement to take your spouse along for your N400. Someone else will be along shortly to confirm this. In fact I am pretty sure you cannot take your spouse into the interview even if you want to.

Great that Orlando are still allowing walk-ins but can you let us know when your original BIO was scheduled for, my priority date is a couple of weeks after yours and I am trying to estimate when my appointment will be ? Thanks

Twice before I have had my Biometrics taken early as a "walk in" and have never had any issues.
