    Hi Lakksh, Congratualtions on getting your GC. Did you not have to file I 485 for you and your spouse each? My lawyer is charging me about 1k each for me and my spouse's preparation and filing of I 485.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, the approximate sum of 10k, I am talking about includes lawyer's charges and application fees and incidental fees both for me and my spouse. How was your experience. Did you have to pay on your own? Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Hi, I was just wondering that who pays in majority of EB1 cases- is it the employer or the employee? My employer is not very willing to pay a sum of 10k. I was also wondering if a portion of this amount can be paid by the employer if not the full amount. Can members share their experiences...

    Apply both in EB1-OR and EB2(NIW)

    Could anybody please tell me if I could apply both in EB 1(OR)and EB 2 (NIW). Do I have to pay twice the filing fees if I apply in both categories? :confused: Please help!
