Motion To Reopen: change of address

I filed this motion to reopen - received on Feb 28 2008 by California Service Center. No updates yet. When I call the national service center they have no additional info. They gave me another number (1-800-898-7180) - but I can't get past automated attendent on that line. Any ideas?

N-400: Outside US for more than 6 months.

My Dad's application got approved - they were convinced that had intended to come back. Since my mom and dad travelled together for more than 6 months, should we apply for my Mom now? How well would the argument that since dad was approved, my mom intended to come back with him. One caveat...

N-400: Outside US for more than 6 months.

You mean he should go to his August 28th interview and if they decline his application, ask for "continuation"? Or should he skip the interview and ask for "continuation". What would be the process to ask for this "continuation" if he didn't go for his interview?

My Dad has a similar situation except that we have already applied for him. He was out from Feb 2003 to Feb 2004. We applied for his Citizenship October 2007. He was interviewed in July, but he has a followup interview scheduled on August 28th - he was told that he would have to produce...

N-400: Outside US for more than 6 months.

I don't have any bills/ID cards in her name. I have her medical insurance papers which show her address and her social security card which was mailed to this address. Does USCIS ask for documents such as utility/electricity bills with the address to prove it?

N-400: Outside US for more than 6 months.

My mom got her green card Feb 2003, but was out of country for almost 1 year - she returned in Feb 2004. We don't have extensive papers that prove she was trying to maintain residence - she obviously has no tax returns/permanent home/driver license etc.. All her sons were in US - so having all...

    90 Day Residency Requirement....

We are applying for my Mom's citizenship. She stayed with us from 2004-2007 in San Jose, but traveled to India for almost 6 months - she returned on July 3rd. Does her India address need to be listed on Part 6? Do we wait for 90 days before we file for her citizenship? Of course, we...

Filling out Part 6. Information about your residence

Thanks. I would think the same too...My mom doesn't have her own home - she lives with us and visits India from time to time. I was wondering if there is a legal definition of residence. I mean, I don't want to NOT list the address and have them think we were lying or something...

Motion To Reopen: change of address

I filed an I-130 (green card petition for Alien relative) in 2002. In 2003 I moved. I did send USCIS a change of address in 2003. In 2005, USCIS sent an RFE to my old address which obviously was returned to them. In Feb 2006 they denied my application and sent it wrong address and it was...
