I have a question for you, did the IO took your I-94 away from your passport? My IO took mine and I dunno is it a normal procedure or what? Is it after I get my greencard I don't need the I-94 anymore?
Same thing here, interviewed yesterday in downtown LA and got the same letter saying that "An adjudicative review of your case is needed". Then I got an email in the afternoon mentioned "Current Status: Card production ordered."
So you should get an email soon or you can go to www.uscis.gov...
I just got an email from USCIS for update of my application:
"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On January 28, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card...
I dunno, he didn't ask or tell us about the namecheck.... but on the letter, there's option "You will be advised of the time and date of a second interview" and "An additional review of your case is required, and/or a background check is required to determine your eligibility" but both were not...
My wife and I had interview today, we arrived one hour earlier than the appointment time, and we're called after one hour. The officer is a man, first of all he asked us to stand and swear, and he went through my forms, asked some questions such as how my wife knew me, do I have kids outside...
Why you said so? I'm concerning if we do not give the new information in the beginning but after being asked for, we are like hiding some sth and this may affect the interviewer's decision.... any thoughts?
Thank you for ur advice!! Just want to make sure, that does my friend/relative need to have the letter from his/her employer or copy of income tax return is good enough? I'm just afraid that he or she cannot get the letter in such a short period...
