To whom who may know the answer, I wanted to know what type of background check USCIS does on Citizenship applicants (other than FBI fingerprint and FBI name check). Somebody told me that USCIS also does "internal fingerprint check" and they run fingerprints through US-VISIT visitor...

Does anybody on here happen to know what is the difference between getting a "biometric visa" at the US consulate and getting enrolled in US-VISIT. When does enrollment in US-VISIT actually happen, at the time a person obtains a visa or at the time they cross a US border? Because DOS started...
