B1 to J1- travel question?
We changed our status from B1/B2 to J1/J2 in the US, 1 year ago. We had declared our intent of doing a residency at the time of B stamping. Can anybody help- 1. Is it safe to travel to India to get our J visas stamped-is there increased change of rejection? 2. If we don't travel to India now...- akjain

Travel to India on J1 status
We came to US on B1/B2 and got our status changed to J1 and J2 respectively! Is it safe to travel to India now and get our visas stamped? Does getting status changed in US lead to higher risk of rejection? Appreciate any help..- akjain
