Are we so thin blooded ????
You are right jester. Nobody gives a f* about us. One the second thought why are we all so desperate to live here when nobody is so keen on keeping us here ??? Are we from country like Afghanistan or Pelestine ? I am sick of all this so I have decided to move back...

Anuj,
I don\'t see a reason to panic unless your job profile is changing "drastically" if it is the same company or it\'s merging or getting taken over by other company you are fine. Try talking to your manager and HR generally they are very co-operative in the matters...
http://www.isn.org
I think it makes no sense getting mad at others for not helping us. They did their part when they were in problem and we also benifited from it in terms of th new provision for EB based immigration. Now it\'s our turn to do something. We cannot exepct someone else to fight...
Unfortunately Yes
It seems you really have a big problem. Yes you will have to file for new Labor Certificate from Texas and secondly you will have to file H1-B Amendment with INS for work place in Texas. The only way out I can think in your case is if your transfer is of "temporary"...
Re:Strange \'Labor\' situation - Any ideas?
It\'s not a \'strange\' situation. It has happened with lot of people and I think there should be no problem with your immigration process however you will need to refile some documents with SESA/DOL. Check with your lawyer he should be able to help...
Caution
Be VERY careful... U might end up nowhere. Hire an attorney and take his/her advise. Don\'t rely on the newgroups alone. This is more complex than it seems. Last thing you want to see is INS charging you with immigration fraud even if you don\'t have that intention.
Just my 2 cents...
