Hi, Here is the situation I graduate from US university in May 2008. Then i have to start my OPT latest by July 2008. OPT is valid for 1 year from start date. i.e. after july 2009 I loose my student status. => I have to get H1 by october 2008 for which I have to apply under open Quota...- bindage
