After a month of entering the US, i received four separate envelopes from TSC. They contained four identical welcome notices (and no green card)
At this rate, in a month from now I should be the proud owner of four cards!
Hi All,
I entered the US via Newark after CP and had my Machine Readable Immigrant Visa (similar to I-551 stamp) endorsed. I was told that this was valid for 1 year and that I would get the physical green card in the mail soon.
It has been 18 days now. No welcome letter and no green card. I...
My 73 year old father got a green card through DV lottery in December 2002. He doesnt have any income so he pays no taxes and he lives with me so he pays no bills. How can he document his presence in this country?

I have finally received an interview appointment date in January. The problem is that this is a particularly busy time of the year for me work wise and I would like to spend as little time away as I can.

NVC...

Mine made the exact same mistake by checking the wrong case on the application and did not own up to it for 3 months until I called USCIS and confronted him.
He ended up filing for a new labor certifiication and I-140 EB-2 with premium processing which got...
Dear all,
I am on an H1B and have not left the US since 2004 but last time I did, I was required to go to a customs office for an exit interview because my home country was on the special registration list.
Now I am finally making preparations to go for my CP interview. Do I need to do...
