I am on H1-B visa. My I-797 is expiring on July 1st 2007. My lawyers has applied for my H1-B extension and I got receipt a week ago. In order to bring my parents here on Visitor visa, is it essential to have I-797 or should my receipt I-129 should suffice. Please advice. Thanks!

Hi my H-1B is expiring on July 1st 2007. My attorneys have filed for my extension on June 8th 2007 but so far I did not get any receipt. What are my options here will I be out of status after July 1st 2007? Please respond.
