After my message changed to "Card Mailed" I had an LUD on 485 on a saturday and sunday. Dont know really what they do on Saturday and sunday, may be some system update on weekend or something.

My Experience was same as Yankee_Boy. Out of three AP's that I gave them, they took one and returned me two. My I-94 was stamped untill the AP's expiration date.

But the unused numbers of the ROW can be used to high demand countries in the fourth quater, so that means, the 10k visas/year is not exact calculation, it can be more.

You cant get interim EAD at local office, but if your case is pending more than 90 days, you can take a infopass appoitment and talk to an IO and ask them to speed up the process. It has worked for some people.

I got my approval after 50 days of my EVL RFE. So guys with RFE, dont loose your hope, I guess someone is working on your case otherwise why will they send RFE. Its not a sure thing, but there is a high probability

I just got "Approval Notice Sent" and "Card Mailed" emails. No Welcome Notice or Card production ordered mails.

I think they are seperate process. My EAD got approved 15 days before my 485 approval and my EAD case was handled by different officer who was not handling my 485. So I wouldnt assume that her 485 would not be approved.

My friend had a similar situation and I asked him to call the TSC using POJ method and ask them. He called yesterday and the IO was polite and appoligized for the mess and she said that she would sent a note to the production department about the issue. May be you can try it and see before...

Thanks 1Victim... I have my wife's EAD, my AP and wife's AP pending in VSC. My lawyer sent those to VSC by mistake. I am not sure what will happen to those applications.
