    I understand a person can be on multiple H1. However, if he or she is working on H1 and wants to get an additional H1, would the second H1 fall in quota or not?

    I am facing a similar situation. My company is likely to merge too. I think you have to request ur employer to file I-140 again under new company name along with a copy of ur old approved I-140. Good thing is that u can keep the original priority date. hope it helps
