The PDF you linked to only serves to illustrate the physical security features of the paper the certificate is printed on eg. embossing, watermarks, invisible ink - nothing else :) The QR code is printed, hence it doesn't appear on the PDF. To get the fingerprint + name check you can only apply...

It's a bit alarming to say the least, and on top of that they want originals in some cases. I'm also wondering if it's specific to the Sydney consulate? I'll be curious to see if London has introduced the same rule...

Yep, I asked for it be posted here as it's where I plan to have my interview. I'm worried about the turnaround time too - I can see via tracking that my posted application has been in stuck in Sydney and undelivered since last week!

DV 2026 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

DV 2026 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

DV 2026 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

I got selected! I've applied numerous times over the years. I was selected around 2014 but I didn't follow through because my case number was quite high and also, I wasn't prepared in many ways. But things are different now, and my case number is OC9XX. This is a decent number, right?

Don't worry Kellie :) I'm DV2015OC000021XX... I think I can take the Highest OC CN crown for now! I'll eagerly be following the DV2014 results to try and gauge how DV2015 might play out. I'm hopeful, but tempering that hopefulness... And I guess it's better to be in with any kind of chance that...

    DV 2015 Winners Meet Here

Hi all DV2015 selectee here... I don't want to say "Winner" just yet. Some back story: I've been applying since 2005 (bar 1 year when I simply forgot somehow) and have become accustomed to being unsuccessful. On a whim this morning I decided to check to confirm for another year that I wasn't...

    Dv 2006 Nl

From what I have gathered, there are cases of people in Australia (OC region) receiving their NLs (for 2005) in early April - whether it happens again this year is anybody's guess. For everybody else it's from May onwards.
