Got my oath letter a few days ago for the Sept 24th ceremony. Unfortunately I am out of the country now and will not return until Oct 19th. I emailed OathCeremonyD23@dhs.gov asking to have the date rescheduled to the Oct 27th ceremony.
They replied the next day confirming my request to...
Got my oath letter on September 10 for the September 24 oath event. I will need to ask for it to be rescheduled to the next one (October 27) since I am out of the country.
Got a call (from the same officer that interviewed me) on August 5th after receiving my FedEx package with the police clearances that I had sent a week earlier on July 28th. She said I needed to come in to sign something - and asked when I could come. I told her any time. We agreed on the...
Had the interview today at 8am which lasted about 15 minutes. Female officer asked for my green card, passport, drivers license, and marraige cert before we got to her office so she could make a copy. Did the oath in the office before we started. She asked me a lot of questions from the...
Got a letter today in the mail as a response to the "service request" which inluded a copy of the interview letter. Interview is scheduled for 7/27. Just cancelled tomorrow's InfoPass! :)
Called the 800 number. The customer service rep basically just repeated what was listed on the website. I asked if the interview letter had been mailed yet and she said "No". Not sure if she really knew what she was doing.
She did create a service request "to get them to generate the...
Got an email notice that the case was sent for a standard interview on 6/12... and have not gotten the actual letter yet. Can some share their experience with the time between the email and getting the actual letter?
The case was also "touched" online on 6/15 and 6/16.
From my searches it...
Yeah, I think what happened is they didn't need the prints... just the background check? Since I had it done about 10 months ago when I filed for removal of conditions on the GC they may not have needed fingerprints. Just a guess.
Out of the blue... got an email today that "This case has been sent for a standard interview."! That was unexpected... I thought biometrics would definately need to be repeated...
Now we'll just wait for the noticie in the mail to see when its scheduled for.
So we went to the Infopass appointment, and it was essentially a huge waste of time. The rep confirmed there had been no action on our case. I asked if there was anything she could do to initiate a new biometrics notice... "No". How long should we expect to wait for the notice to be...
So we called the FBI this morning. They told us they received the biometrics on March 18th, but they were rejected due to "poor quality". What now? I have a InfoPass appointment for next friday...
Hello All - My N-400 application was received by USCIS on Feb 22. I got the biometrics notice on March 16 (notice was dated March 12), and completed walk-in biometrics on March 18.
My online case status shows the last update on March 16. In my previous applications I normally was touched a...
I got the email today also. The case was also touched today (7/14) so the card was most likely mailed today.
We had the exact same schedule from Bio Appt on... our files were probably on top of one another on someone's desk!
You didn't get any update after the biometrics?
I did biometrics on Saturday, June 20th. On Monday, June 22nd there was an update online. There was another on June 23rd. (I assume that was the FBI name check results?)
Haha! I was actually a little worried becuase our supporting docs were only maybe 30 pages or so. Just the basics (joint tax return, bank, deed, affidavits, pics, etc). After I read on this forum what some of others have sent (200+ pages) I assumed I would get an RFE or interview...
