For me AVM message says "RFE issued on Aug 27 2002". Me or my lawyer did not receive any notice from INS. Any one know how much time it takes usually to get the notice? Thanks

AVM For me AVM says "My case was received on August 23....." where as actually it was received on July 13..... AVM is still not working properly.

Why don\'t you ask your company to get the copy of the I 485 receipt? If your lawyer have filed the I485 with Form G28 then you will not get the receipt. Goodluck

Not Necessary if you have valid H visa As I know if you have EAD and you used it then you have to have AP for travel out side. But if you have valid H4 and you are not working then you can travel on H4 and come back. But for safety I will suggest take all your documents.

Need info. I just received my I 485 receipt. Can I go to local INS and file for EAD? or do you need to file EAD application first? When my lawyer filed 485 he did not file EAD and AP at the same time. So I am wondering what is the process to get the Interim EAD. Thanks

No Receipt yet for July 12 I filed 485 on July 12 still no receipt. Just 485 not EAD/AP.
