DO I need to file for an H1B extension before filing I-485?
No Title Your H1B expires in Apr and I am assuming thats the end of 6 years, you can apply for AOS before the visa expires. but once visa expires you cannot work legally unless you get your EAD. so either you have to make sure that EAD comes within apr 2002. or you can file extension of H1...- nri_nrr

No Title You can travel outside the country on the basis of your H1 as long as its valid. You dont need to file AP.- nri_nrr
