This is a question from one of my friend. He got I140 approved recently and on his approval notice there is a Axxxxxxxx following his name in the column of beneficiary. Is this same as A# which could be filled in I-485 form? Thank you.

My NIW was approved last year while I was a Ph.D. student. Now my I-485 is still pending and I will graduate soon. My question is that what status I need to keep before my I-485 is approved. I already have my EAD. Need I apply for OPT to keep my F1 status? Any of your input would be appreciated.
