It took approximately 4 weeks for us to receive passport.

I got expedite processing fee refund for both me and my wife. I just sent email with details after a month I got reply back saying our applications were qualified and I should receive refund. Actually on Friday we got a check.

Our Application acknowledged on 11Aug 2007. (IST ???). I mailed on July11 and it was delivered to Houston Consulate on July 13th. It seems Houston started working again...
