My husband’s experience, he didn’t need his passport but they asked for his birth certificate to make sure his details are spelled correctly (name and birth date).

It’s the alien #. It should be written in all your notices. It’s usually 9 numerical characters (numbers).

It’s usually the A# that you have to enter when calling that number.
