citi is wrong, you can apply after 3 years minus 90 days from the date you received ur conditional GC, thats assuming you are still married to you USC spouse.

I just came back from PR a week ago. It's just like flying to any other state, you only need your DL. I'm a GC holder and no one asked to see my passport or GC (I didn't take neither with me to begin with). Now whether PR was worth the trip or not, thats a whole different matter.

I think that giving citizenship automatically to children of Illegal Immigrants, the minute they're born, is ridiculous...it doesnt make any sence and its causin all that debate bout separating families...

by the way, if you have a valid I-20, it means ur still in-status as F-1, she simply wont be able to leave the country and come back without renewing her F-1 visa. and yes you can marry a USC and apply for a GC. I was on F-1 myself before becomming a LPR.

u can file while they're overseas and once its approved, they would come here..
