    I-485 Part 2 Application Type?

    First of all, your wife should file I-485, not you, she is an applicant. She should write " my husband who is US citizen filed I-130 for me" where it says other eligability. You should send all applications to Chicago Lockbox.

    You should send all applications together to Chicago Lockbox, I-765 ( work permit) usually takes a little less than 90 days to get. Make sure you send your medical with your applications, otherwise you'll get RFE which will delay the process.

    I think the day your visa expires you will automatically fall off payroll so you won't be eligable to take leave, I'm in the same boat, my OPT expired October 14 and I was automatically released form employment.
