rir... i am planning to comeback on the old one, but in the mean time i want to apply for extension because it is taking 2/3 months now. once i return i don't have 2/3 months left on the existing one.

even if i already have an approved one till jan'07 the new one is for extending from jan'07... Thanks

How long after we apply can we leave ?

Can we apply for EAD/AP extension while out of the country. this is not the first time i am applying, this is my 3rd extension.

santa4u, we have seen in this forum that some of them have done it.

Here is a link to the memo. reading thru it, it clearly says (as i understand) there should be no issue even if the employer revokes 140 after 180 days of filing 485. it would still be helpful for all to share any experience with this issue. http://www.usavisanow.com/8-13-03-140-485.pdf
