My husband's and my I-485 is out of processing time by 250 days now, and because of schedule A quota being over, it is now going to take 6-8 years to get the GC. Which means we have to shell out $700 every year to renew our APs and EADs. All this money going to waste...! And then all these US...

...continue from previous msg.... The INS never asked for our Medical. So, we got it done by ourself and instructed our lawyer to send it to NSC. They received it and acknowledged it, although no GC yet.

The "regular" green card...... I am sorry...this is what my lawyer said and I did not double check him. He meant the "regular" green card for which one has to wait for years and years. A PHysical Therapist falls in the "special interest" category where it takes 1-2 years to get the GC in hand...

Called the FMI on 9/4/06 and it is for the division that only deals with fingerprinting and they do not give out the number of the division that heandles the name checks or security checks because "they do not speak with the public"!!
