costco pictures
It should be fine; I got my EAD and AP approved using pictures taken in Costco. I guess what's matter is if your face show properly in the picture. (USCIS has regulations for photos published on their website)
Second guess; your attorney forgot to send your pictures in :)
As far as I know, the company has to show ability to pay you the prevailing wage after your lc app. is submitted and until current. The way to show company's ability is by:
1- Your actual pay is same or higher than prevailing wage after lc app. is submitted; or,
2- Your company made enought...
There's no time limit on when you file I-140 after lc is approved. It's better to file I-140 after you receive the official approved lc but you can start prepare paperwork as it will take awhile to get all the document.
Congratulations! My attorney told me mine was approved officially yesterday. (Got letter in mail) The certification date is Oct. 13; takes 11 days to receive the letter.
See you in I-140 forum
One thing you might want to discuss with your attorney; any changes in job description/qualifications/wage in original application might IMPLY that the recruitment done back then was invalid as the offer/job/requirement are different, which will lead to their request to redo recruitment now.
Great news...a 2002 CA case is approved!
Congratulation! Finally seeing a 2002 CA case is approved! What a relief...a friend of mine also got a update from 202 number saying his case is also recommended for NOF (that's a month ago) but no update after.
Good luck in next stage.
PD 99 got approval..wow!
Congratulation! It's almost 7 years since you first applied....
Would you mind tell us what type of NOF you got? (Experience, wage, etc.) It will help those who also got NOF understand what might happen next to their NOF.
If the new position is more than 50% difference from the current one, the experience within the same company will count. Otherwise, it won't count. However, the question is how to prove the new position is "more than 50% difference". You need to have a good attorney/HR to straight this out...
Anyone from CA who is still waiting?
While we're seeing cases filed in other states processed by PBEC, I can't stop wondering what happen to those "lucky ones" who filed cases in CA and got theirs moved in PBEC instead of DBEC. Does anyone from CA got their cases processed (approved or NOF)...
Congratulation..finally I'm seeing some light at the end of this tunnel as I thought PBEC won't go back to work on cases with PD before end of Dec. 2002. Could you tell us how did you find out your case is approved today? (Did you call any number to find out the status?)
How come your "Case Received Date" is same as "Priority Date"? What is the PD that you're aware of? As far as I know, the "Rate of Pay" is the pay you will receive after your LC approved. In all these years, attorney usually put it about 95% of the "Prevailing Wage" (at least) even it your...
Good sign..seeing more approvals come in today..
Congratulation! Come back to visit this forum whenever you've chance. We're so used to seeing valuable inputs from you :-)
BTW, what information did you get from the reply? Did they put the case status back?
Good luck on I140/485.
Finally seeing an approval...
Congratulation! Finally seeing an approval after so many NOFs. Could you share some information on your case? Like occupational title and job requirement (Example: MS+0) Was the certified date June 9 or July 9? Just wondering how long will it take to receive...
PD will be maintained even it's denied as RIR and converted to TR
Based on this document, the PD will be maintained even the case is coverted to TR from RIR. So for those who have case converted to TR, please check your PD see if the original one remains.
1st paragraph on page 26 "If, after...
We're hoping it's not true but I just heard another case from a friend who received NOF. (The case is changed to TR) Folks, just prepare yourself to see this in mail box. It's not the end of the world but it's going to make you feel depressed for sometime.
