I just e-filed an I-90 form for replacement of my GC due to expiration after 10 years. I got a I-797, Notice of Action, from National Benefits Center.
But: Web-page for CIS Processing Dates ( https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp ) shows processing dates for...
10 years successfully passed
Really it is possible to stay for 10 years mainly out of USA, coming each year for a month or two, with no more than 11-month absence.
Each time at the passport control I was saying that I'm studying, and nothing really happened to me. But that's definitely jeopardy.
