Re: The letter says that "you are eligible to apply for Employment Authorization Card or Advanced Parole....." and then they give me a day and time. Thanks.

Re: The only reason I ask is that I am on an H1-B (valid for another 2 years). So is it ok to just not show up for the appointment? Is it optional? I could apply for the EAD later, if I need to, is that correct? Thanks.
