Because you don't have enough time, I 'd suggest you to apply OCI later either in USA or in India. You should get OCI within 3 months and I think you don't worry about it for now.

I 'd recommend CVS for two things: 1. Quality & standards are good. 2. For $8 you can get 6 passport photos. I believe one of my friends got 6 photos for $0.23c as he took digital picture at home, carried in flash card and prepared 6 photos by himself at CVS and paid just cents.

Nah...even if I am relative of them I 'd make use of them for getting big contracts :p

NYCGI received my application on 3rd August 2006. Acknowledged on 8th August 2006. I believe you need 5 photos in total per person. two photos on two applications (per person) and three extra.
