I usually carry my GC & passport together and I did notice him checking my passport as well. I did not send a passport with my N-400 app, but based on my experience, I would say you need it for the interview.

Had my FP on 9/28 & PD on 9/12...See below. My Online Case Status also disappeared. I called USCIS & they said that a letter was mailed on 11/9 & they could not release futher info over the phone. So I'm waiting.

I do understand that I can mail my application 90 days before. However, what I am trying to understand is, what's the benefit of doing so? Do they process such cases as a normal case, i.e, issue PD, do FP checks, etc., as usual OR Do they just file these case & wait till the actual 5 year...

I entered at Boston on 11/18/01. Does anyone know if there is a way to track the status of the plastic card? I have read postings on this group about people tracking the status of their cards, but these people mostly seem to have gone through AOS. What is the procedure for CPers
