Just to update the time line. My wife's passport was mailed yesterday via express mail and we should get it today 4/27. So it's 4 weeks EXACTLY.

OK. Called the toll free number last night and they told me that my wife's application has been "upgraded" to be expdited. Today the online status changed to expdited as well. It's exactly 2 weeks since we applied. Interesting though is that the online status still shows routine delivery...

teddybear, that's great news. My wife applied 5 days before you and still no change in her status $@#$@. I think I will wait till next week before trying to call them again.

islander79, I think both you and Teddy are dealing with the NYC office, right? My wife's passport is in Houston so I hope they get to fixing the online status, or better yet, just send the passport. It has been 10 days since we applied.

Well, at least we are not alone :rolleyes:. My wife called the toll free number twice and got the same response both time. Basically, they just received the file and it has not been processed yet and has not been assigned to a "batch" for whatever that means. So I am hoping that it gets assigned...

Has that happened to anyone????? My wife applied for expedited passport and paid for express return receipt. That was 5 days ago. Today the online status shows "you requested Routine Service and Routine Delivery of your passport". I sent them an email and hopefully they fix it!!! Weird.

The case number written on the check is NOT your actual case number!! It doesn't make sense but that was the case for both my wife's and my application at TSC.

My wife got her 3/21 oath letter on Saturday as well.

We have no confirmation so far for the date of the March oath let alone the May one :rolleyes: . One post some time ago mentioned the 3/21 date. No one yet has reported receiving an oath letter for that 3/21 oath. My wife had her interview on 1/4 but no oath letter yet. We have been trying...

Be on the safe side, go with the 15th of June (Sunday) so sign it and mail it on the 16th. Hopefully it will still be before the fees increase.

This is not quite true. The removal of the "excluding traffic tickets" from the N400 form happened more than 3 years ago (in 2003 or about). I know that for sure. I mailed my application in May 2006 and the latest form at that time was the exact same as the current one.

We need some activity in here :) So anyone got scheduled yet for the 3/21 oath? Any hint during an interview about the upcoming oath ceremonies schedule for 2007?

Congrats.. This is similar to my experience at the previous one on 11/15 on Aldine-Bender. They had close to 2500 people getting citizenships at that one. Traffic was ugly leaving from there. The new location is better for me since I live in Katy. Hopefully we receive my wife's letter soon for...

My wife didn't get an oath letter for the 1/24 oath although she passed her interview on 1/4. So we are hoping now for the 3/21 oath. I had my own oath last November. So you guys have all the fun you can on Wednesday and keep us updated about the new oath facility.
