No Title Yes if you are on H1 good to get H1 extension. If there is any problem in Green card still you can work on H1 till 6 years and also you can get your dependent( spouse or child ) on H4.

No Title yes if you need to use H1. It is better to have the H1. If there is any problem with GC at lease you can stay till the date of your H1. Also if some one dependent on you want to come to US can come on H4. Without H1 you cannot have it.

EAD pending Did you have to go for an EAD interview. I was called for an EAD interview. After that they said they are going to check at the National Center and give another appointment day.
